“I was born and raised in Fiji, before completing my Bachelor of Laws at the University of Auckland in 2006 and being admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2007.

 “I began my career in New Zealand in tax law, before moving to London in 2008 and working in asset restructuring for 4 years. I returned to New Zealand in 2012 and have worked in small law firms after a brief stint at running a liquor store franchise. I have been a Director at Neilsons since 2022 and help our clients with property, commercial matters and estate planning, with a special interest in finance and asset restructuring.

“I am fluent in Hindi and Gujarati and often provide advice in these languages. I am an active member of the Business Network International and sit on the executive of the New Zealand Fiji Business Council. 

“When I am not at work, I enjoy playing netball and watching football with my husband and two young boys.”
